Consortium

The project is run by a consortium of seven partners from four European countries. The partners represent leading business, technological and research organizations, and institutions across the Europe.  The project coordinator International Energy Research Centre (Tyndall National Institute, UCC (Ireland) will oversee the project’s implementation plan of  seven work packages (WP) for duration of 36 months. The project started at 1 September 2021 and will run for three years until 31 August 2024. The involved partners cover the whole value chain from energy suppliers and specialists to building owners and tenants.

IERC

The International Energy Research Centre (IERC) located in Cork, Ireland is an industry-led collaborative research organization that seeks to identify and exploit opportunities in the energy demand space through a holistic, system approach to technology, policy and markets. It is one of the largest funded technology centres in Ireland, with a portfolio of approximately €5m worth of investment already underway. The IERC delivers the research needed to enable improvements through the five lenses of technology: analytics, behaviour, business models and policy regulations. The IERC delivers world leading collaborative research to meet global societal needs for secure, affordable and sustainable energy services. It enables partners to develop new products and services that will ensure real energy demand reductions across society. The centre provides an energy research environment that combines business innovation with research excellence for energy demand side efficiency and systems integration challenges.

HEBES

Hebes Intelligence (HEBES) is an ICT specialized company in energy improvements projects. It offers wide range of services including measurement and verification of energy savings after the implementation of energy retrofits, as well as the monitoring and impact evaluation of energy efficiency programs. In addition, HEBES also provides tools that act as a playground for developing and testing tailor-made, highly efficient control strategies. Furthermore, the company has experience in energy system modelling and simulation at scales ranging from individual buildings to national level energy systems and markets.

EGEN

EGEN is a specialized company with more than 35 professionals in the field of environment, energy and mobility. EGEN provides support services to private and public organizations in innovation processes, intelligence services, technology transfer, IT solutions and funding for research, development and innovation in the field of energy, environment and mobility. Originated from the PNO Group, as a strong and vibrant organization, EGEN’s mission is to help its partners to achieve green transition, investment or innovation better and faster.

EUNICE

EUNICE including its participating member Eunice Laboratories (a subsidiary of Eunice Energy Group) is an independent Greek electricity producer that focuses on renewable energy sources. The group was founded in 2001 and it is one of the pioneers in renewable energy sector in Greece. Eunice Energy Group’s activities cover the whole spectrum of Research and Development on innovative technologies in the energy sector, manufacturing of high performance and quality products for the energy industry, as well as investment, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects. Eunice currently holds a portfolio of approximately 100MW and future project pipeline of 1.5MW of clean energy produced and stored explicitly from RES through owned and operational wind, photovoltaic and energy storage parks, being the 3rd biggest non-utility driven wind energy producer in Greece.

SMARKIA is an AI-Powered Energy Management Software-as-a-Service Platform. The company is an SME which was conceived to be as cloud-based solution leader for large energy consumers. It is one of the leaders in the market of cloud energy management solutions at national and international level. Business experts coming from energy and technology sector founded Smarkia in 2011, starting up a new EnerTech business. The participation of the most qualified and experienced staff, with a wide background in technology and energy sector, has made possible the development of Smarkia platfrom and its SaaS solution is a market reference and pioneer in this field.

Lawler Sustainability (LS) was formed to provide an integrated approach to reducing clients’ energy consumption, their carbon footprint and increasing sustainability.
